Why understanding the iceberg syndrome can help you interview better

Last week, CEO, entrepreneur, and investor Elon Musk, tweeted out a poll asking his followers if they wanted an edit button on Twitter. Little did he know that there was already a PM at Twitter who had been working on this exact project for the past 2 years. For many outside (and sometimes even inside) of the engineering field, a project that takes more than 2 years to complete sounds a little shocking. But with closer inspection, implementing an edit button is much more complex than it sounds.

In this week's Coffee Break with Formation, Sophie explains what the iceberg syndrome is, how it comes into play with Musk's tweet, and how having a grasp on it can help you perform better in your interviews.
